Photo Hiker

Hiking in the woods, same place I shot these. It was pretty cold so I got to wear my new cap. I don’t know why I like this image – maybe it just reminds me how fulfilling it is when I make space for doing something, and then do nothing but that thing. I didn’t have to be anywhere at that time but on that hike.

Technically, my daughter shot this, it wasn’t on a timer. Yet another reason I like the image. We had a good afternoon walking and seeing what we could capture through the lens. Oh, and the goatee will be gone by the time I do another self-portrait.

The Images
Looking at the street images of Joe Quint. He captures a lot of lonely emotion, especially with the bikes.

There is a beauty and peace to being able to just be in the moment, and enjoy the present, without thinking about what's next. I've been there…..it's a place I like to be.
    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Diane. I'm rarely there but I won't stop working on it!

    The goatee's days are numbered?
